Hi

I have been using the monitoring & report tool from SBS2003 for a while now. It's a good tool for having a quick overview of all errors in the error log directly in my mailbox, even when I'm working home. Now since the installation of Trend Micro SBS Monitoring Suite, I get the following text in the body of this monitoring e-mail: "Bad Request (Invalid Hostname)". I have been searching all over the place what this could mean, but unfortunately I can't find anything about what hostname he expects. Can someone help me out?

This might maybe help: For the installation we had to create a second IP address for our server.

Thanks

Steven

Stoemp,

I am not familiar with the Trend Suite.

By default SBS assigns to the internal net an address comprised of what you specify with a .local extention.
i.e. tek-tips.local while to the outside world if you have it setup this way it would be (tek-tips.com or?)
You might find the settings in trend for the host and see what it is and try these other names.

Thanks for replying, but I already found the solution. It had something to do with the dual IP address from our server. There was a KB article from MS available on this issue.

Best regards

Steven
