Your first question is "why would you ever do that?" Well, it was in the client's best price range. Anyways, most of the migration went terrific. The mailboxes were successfully moved using exmerge. The users data and programs all moved fine. But after shutting down the old one and making the new one a domain controller with the same name and IP, we realised that we forgot to move the pub.edb. My "migration cheat sheet" only mentioned mailboxes and I never even thought about Public Folders. I don't think I could do a replication now in this situation, and I haven't found any merge tools for public. I do have the database on tape, so I could put it on the new one if it means anything. TIA, Tom.
