I've done quite a few installations of SP1 but never had any problems until now. I also can't find any solutions to the error message I'm getting...Windows 2003 SP1 installs as well as Sharepoint. Exchange 2003 SP2 was installed by someone else on this server before the SP1 update was started.

The first two steps are successful, I skip the Exchange step and move to the XP SP2 client deployment update. However, both this and the final step provide an error message that "This update is only for Windows Small Business Server 2003." In the logs for these updates the setting IsSBS2003 is equal to 0 and that's where the installation ends.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

The release notes for Exchange server 2003 SP2 suggest that you should install Windows Server 2003 (SBS2003 Server) SP1 before installing Exchange Server 2003 SP2. It also suggests that Exchange SP2 cannot be uninstalled. So it would seem that you may have to reinstall SBS2003 SP1 and then install Exhange 2003 SP2.

It's not that...It turns out that two years ago the person who installed SBS 2003 didn't run all the wizards.
