Hi all,
I was wondering what the best solution would be for the folowing issue.
There are a few people working here with laptops and they go out of the office verry often.
It is easy to set up a vpn connection so you can use e-mail from anywhere. Or you can use outlook over HTTP.
Now we are using a lot of small programs. Some are web based so no problem but others have their data on our servers and a client application that uses the share on that server. Now I thought if you use vpn you can use the program from anywhere. This is true but it is verry verry slow. So I can set up Terminal server. But then they all log in to our server directly.
I would rather use vpn becouse everything can stay on the client computers like they just plugged in a the cable of the local network.
What is the best way to handle a network like this? Using Terminal server or not?
tanks in advance
tank you,
best regards,
