Folks -

I am planning to migrate a SBS 2003 Server to Windows 2003 standard. From what I have read, SBS features like RWW, Sharepoint, Monitoring & reporting will still be available after the upgrade. However, there is no support for it and a future update to the OS might break the functionality of these tools.

Is that correct?

Thanks!

Yes. This is correct. There is no support for broken SBS-specific functionality after running transition pack.

The transition pack takes a bit over two hours to run and there are usually around 6 reboots. There are also usually error messages that seem ominous but don't end up amounting to a problem.
