SBS 2003 logging in problem

Hi , I need your help desperately...A few days ago I set up an SBS 2003, users can logged in with no problems. However 3 days later after the weekend, users can't log in. When they do it pop up a message saying passord expired. So i tried to renew the password, but it came back saying that domain cannot be found. But I can log in as the administrator.
Well, that's find so i proceed to chnage the password at
the server instead, but an error message pops up saying that password can't be updated.

I am not sure here I have gone wrong, is there something to do with the group policy licensing. Yes, the server is a DC.
Pleas help.
