SBS 2000 Upgrade Path and options

I finally have the need to get rid of SBS 2000 as we have another office open with an NT4 domain that i wish to trust.

As SBS 2000 does not support trusts what are my options for upgrading SBS? Someone mentioned you could upgrade to Backoffice 2000 by installing over SBS 2000. Is this correct and does Backoffice support trusts and multiple server configurations?

I want to avoid having to reinstall from scratch as we have 20 users on the exchange server and i want to keep disruption to a minimum.
