says can't find file but opens it

Situation: NT4, Access 2000.

I have an Access database file. When I open it, I get a dialog saying can't locate file D:\XXXXX or a needed library (or something similar).

But, it opens the file. I just close the error message and all works fine.

I can open a copy of the file on my W98 machine at home with no problem.

How do I get rid of this?
