That is "Floppy" by the way....damn typo's...and you can;t edit your own post, how silly. grrr. :p

By default floppy drives are mapped so are there! So Yes it can be done and is usually automatic.

Cheers,
Carl.

Hi Carl,

OK, to be more precise, a user on a unix box who accesses Microsoft Word for example via citrix wan;t to be able to save to floppy's. Within work they choose "Save As" and select the A: drive which is shown but it just say's insert a disk etc etc.... as if to suggest it is the citrix server's floppy drive it is trying to access? At first I thought that this is not the case and the unix box may have a faulty floppy drive, but the same happend on another unix box and also on my machine which is a PC. ?

Cheers

Hi,

Is the unix floppy mounted as a unix floppy or an msdos floppy, is it not something that is that simple? Not that I know unix!

Cheers,
Carl.
