I have an Okidata 590 printer that prints on 8½ by 8" forms. From Windows, I can print to the printer, and it will remember it's only 8 in instead of 11. Unfortunately, I cannot print from Progression Explorer. These are my settings: Form setup under Form maintenance set to 48 lines at 6 lines per in., Paper size set to 8½ x 8", Printer defaults in printer setup to 8½ x 8". Whenever, I try to print, I setup the page size and try to print. It then continues to print as 11" instead of 8". I can try to print it again, and I will have to choose 8" again (as if it's not saving what I put in). What do I need to do in order to make it save the settings and print properly?

What I have found is that if you go into the operating system driver settings and make the change, then go back in to Progression and change the printing defaults, it holds the settings. At least until the next Progression update.
