Hi,
I've searched the web regarding my problem and I've found some topics about saving dw to an excel file. But I havent found anything that deals with an excel file having some of its columns in protected mode.
I would really appreciate any help.
Thanks in advance.

Do you mean inserting data into an already existing spreadsheet? In PB, saving as an excel file is like doing a 'save as' with the output format being excel.

Thanks for the reply.

I know that using the 'saveas' will work but this will fail if you are going to convert a dw that has computed field values, dates, etc. Plus, it does not make the excel file protected.

Sounds to me like you need to use OLE to put the data into Excel.
