I have a small form which uses 3 linked tables for storage. my form fields are all bound to my table fields.after filling fields with data and trying to close, or move to a new record, I get a warning saying info can't be saved in the corresponding tables.

is there a setting I'm missing somewhere?

I would assume your form's recordset is a query that has three tables linked by a certain field. Is that recordset updatable? When you execute the query is there a new record button down by the record selector? If not, then you may need to check the relationships between your tables.

yes, there is a new record button. any suggestions?

Brian

Not without seeing your table relationships and joins. There are various things that have to be in place to have what is called "referential integrity". Also the joined fields of the main table have to be a unique index.

Sorry.
