Saving Crystal.rpts to a file

Is there a size limitation in Crystal on how big a report or subreport can be? I am running a report that is about 1000 pages long and the Save icon is coming up inactive. Is there something that I can change so I can save this report instead of rerunning the report?

Do you have the File->Save Data With Report selected?

There are some changes that can be made to a report in which the report won't think it needs to be changed, such as connectivity, in this case I generally move a text object up and back once and select save with success.
