Hi!.

One question for you!

I am installing a new VMPRO now. When I do changes in the configuration I use the "Save and Make live" button but the changes don't take effect until I reboot the machine or I restart the VoiceMail service.

¿Do you know the reason the changes don't take effect inmediatly?.

Thanks for your help.

Make sure you haved logged in.
File > Login needs to greyed out, if not login.
Also check if the service runs in Local System Account.
Stop the VMPro service, right click on the service select properties. Goto the Log on tab and just tick Local System Account. Restart the service.

Never leave the VMPro Client open when you're not using it, and if you use remote desktop use
mstsc /Admin or -console or a better way is RealVNC
If not and you have logged on twice you VMPro server can get corupted.

OK. I will check this.

But the changes take effect inmediatly or when all the VoiceMail ports are free. I have a VMPRO with 20 ports and always are in use 10 or more.

Thanks.

That is your problem.
It will stay the same untill vmpro is idle.
If you are on release 6 then you can give vmpro a graceful shutdown.
This will not allow any new calls but do not breakdown the current calls.

honey, i fried the IP Office !!!

Sarcasm, it's only one of the services I offer.

Yes, I tested it and it makes live the configuration when all the channels are free.

Thanks!
