Hi, I am new to Crystal and would like to create an object (or any other means) that I can use each time I write a report. I want to format it like business stationary with the report date, business header and the like. Can someone tell me how to create it and save it?

Depending on your version of Crystal, I would create a standardized report in both landscape and portrait mode, place in your art, a standardized report name formula, page numbering, and then save them.

Now make the files read only and use them as the starting point for all reports.

This is not another Thread, it is another question for the guy that answered the original Thread. This is for Synapsevampire, When I create the formatted header that I want in Crystal, I save it and I can see where I can use it over and over but in order to create it I had to attach it to a database. So, when I go to use it again it has that database in it. How should I handle this?
