I have a database made in Access 97, that sits on a server. I want to add a new field to enable users to add attachments to the records. However, i am having some large problems. Most of my users are on Office 2000, yet the database is on 97. And cannot be upgraded yet. At the moment, i cannot add a 2000vsn Word Document to the database, as it curputs and does not look the same. If it gets into the database at all. I want to have them as ICons so its easier to download. Does anyone know how i get around this? Its a real problem, that i need to fix, and i think i have tried everything. Thank you for your help already.
