save for web in 9.0

I have been using the "save for web" feature in
Illustrator for a while now with no problem and it is now saving very digitized versions of gifs,jpegs etc... It previews this way as well. any thoughts. The gifs and jpegs
it is currently creating are unusable.

Do you have 'anti-alias' checked or unchecked? This may be the problem.
