Hi,

Save Dump, bug check, stop codes, parameters, and automatic reboots.
These are the words i was trying to escape away and get an easy way through.
I am facing this problem very frequently now. When ever this starts to happen i restore my system to an earlier state and it seems okay, but this time even system restore didn't help me.

Following are the last 3 events of save dump:

a) The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x100000d1 (0xfd86d000, 0x00000002, 0x00000000, 0xf9722f2d). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini062105-03.dmp.

b)The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x100000d1 (0xfefe4000, 0x00000002, 0x00000000, 0xf9782f2d). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini062105-02.dmp.

c)The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x100000d1 (0xfe441000, 0x00000002, 0x00000000, 0xf96e2f2d). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini062105-01.dmp.

Can any body guide me to ease the understanding of these stop codes and parameters, and help me to resolve this issue permanently.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Tayyab

Try Safe Mode (Do you have this problem in Safe Mode?).

Try running ChkDsk to check your drive for errors. Right click your Drive icon/ Properties/ Tools/ Error Checking.

Run the System File Checker program from the Run Box by typing.....Sfc /Scannow in it and have your XP CD handy.

If they don't work you could try repairing windows by running it over itself. You will lose all your windows updates but your files will be untouched.
