Save announcement error

We are currently getting an error 2 ("System port/data call failed" at the bottom of the screen) when attempting to do a save ann on 2 of our 3 TN750c announcements cards. we have a definity g3siV2. Anybody ever run into this?

have you listed the data modules and found the one for the announcements and status that data module and see what it comes back with plus it might be wrth testing the dat module as well

That is possibly due to a corrupt announcement in the board, that cannot be backed up. Are all the announcements in tact?

A data module of type "announcement" must be administered on port 17 of the an announcement board for it to properly backup.

You can operate an announcement board without it, but backups will not be possible.
