can someone tell me of a router that can be used with a satellite connection , Want to network three PC with it and the effective distance that it can be used .

Well, do you already have the equipment? If not, then you will have to check with the company that you plan to go with for your satellite service.

Many of the new sat. services plug into your computer via USB port. If this is the case, then you may have a little bit of fun just trying to plug it into a router.

Also, some Sat. services do not provide bi-directional communications. If this is true in your case, then this means that you would have to have a connection with a local ISP, which also confuses the issue somewhat.

Bottom line, my suggestion would be to check with the company that you will be getting your service through. They ought to be able to suggest something for you to do. If not, at least find out what kind of hook up you will need, and post that (and any additional) info here.
 
If you have direcpc you can use internet connection sharing
this is the oneway service. I don't know about the new two way.
