Hi,

- What laptop hardware would you recommend for relatively large databases, SAS (what about 2.2 Ghz 3 RAM 7200 rpm)

- Is SAS working with Windows 7?

The specs you describe will work. I used to have an old Pentium 433mhz run huge datasets. It probably took a drop longer than it does today but who cares.

As far as SAS working on Windows 7 I don't know. You may need a special license as my SETINIT (the registry file for SAS) clearly states WIN XP.

Perhaps a quick call to SAS would help or their web site.
