SAN - serverless backup

Experts,

This is our first experience with storage area network configuration.
Hardware: SAN Switch 2/16 EL Compaq
Software: Legato Networker 7.0 for Windows
Tape Library: Compaq MSL5026 S2 SDLT with embedded E1200 storage router
External Storage: MAS1000

Is it possible to configure serverless backup with our system

Pleade advise

You must have a router to do that, unless the jukebox and the external storage had FB connection. The router becomes SCSI into FB to connect to SAN Switch.

Also, You have to configure the zones at the san switch, for that the drives and the jukebox can be seen by nwserver.

And, you must have the LP9xxxx GB interface, which is in the nwserver...
