Hello,

i have a problem to configure the Networker (Windows).
the networker server has 2 fc cards connected to 2 switches.
the tape-library has 2 fc cards connected to the switches.
the tape-library has 4 drives.

jbconfig see 2 library´s and 8 drives.
after installing hp securePath jbconfig see 2 library´s
and 8 drives.

How must i configure redundate data path´s to the library ??

Thanks for your help

Not knowing the specifics of your hardware, I suspect you're using a fairly standard setup. As such, there is no redundant path to the tape library. Further, I'll assume you haven't changed anything from the default settings on the fc-cards on the tape library. If so, each fc-card in the library will present all tape devices and robotic arm(s) it has to any host connected to it.
This means each connection (HBA) will be presented with the entire tape library. You've got a host with two HBAs connected to two fc-cards, and this means as you've already discovered that you'll see the same tape library twice.
Since there's no redundancy to be had, there's no point in having two HBAs connected to the tape library, at least not for redundancy purpouses. However, you could use two HBAs and two fc-cards in the tape library for load balancing. This would involve editing the fc-cards in the library's configuration, so you're only presenting the robotic arm and two drives to one HBA, and the other two drives to the other HBA. The exact steps for this should be outlined in the fc-card documentation.

An other point of view:
you can use zoning at the switch level to hide the library on the second HBA, and present 2 tapes on each HBA.
