Sample's of Crystal Reports 2

Where would I go to look at several samples of what folks are doing with Crystal Reports ? I would like to see how individuals are getting creative with the fonts, colors,
background, logo's. I feel comfortable with my reports but now would like to enhance them a bit instead of the usual black and white layout. Just curious, Thanks !

Hi There,

I suggest you purchase the book "Seagate Crystal Reports" The Complete Reference. The book comes with a CD that has numerous report samples (and other goodies also).

The book is a bit pricey, about 120.00 Cdn.

I thought it was well worth it. Learned alot.

I second the choice of that book, but unless the exchange rate has changed a whole lot from 1991 -- thank God I don't have to follow that any more -- The book is only about $45 USD.

Douglas J. Wolf (of Wolf's Byte Productions) is the author of the "For Dummies" books for Crystal Reports, Versions 5, 6, 7 & 8.0. He can be reached through his company's website:

I purchased both his "Dummies C R Version 8.0" book & a CD rom that he produced that goes hand-in-hand with his book. The firm also offers a video on using formulas, called "Formulas Are Fun" but it used Version 5.0, so that product is now a bit dated, and is difficult to view, off of a TV screen. They have all proven helpful to me, however. The lessons all provide useful examples of Crystal Reporting.
