Hi guys...
I am a new member of this forum - so be kind
We have a multi server Citrix XP fr3sp3 /w2k sp4 farm with a number of VB apps running on it load balanced across a number of boxes.
As an operations function we have a generic AD ID that runs various routines in each of these exe's to collect data from an HP-UX 11.00 server running CIFS A.01.08.01 (samba).
The problem is that the samba server refuses to fork out a seperate PID for each connection from the Metaframe server - probably 'cos the Windows box doesn't ask for one. Is there a way I can force either the Citrix server or the samba server to assign different PID's to each connection?
I have tried to keep this post short in an attempt to keep the boredom factor low, so let me know if you need more info.
Many thanks in advance.
Myles
