We just recently upgraded to Samba 3.0.13 on an AIX system. We use extended ACLs heavily. The reason for the upgrade was we migrated to a new domain, and the old version of Samba would not support it. Now since the upgrade, only the owner of a file can rename or delete the file, regardless if the user has full permission on the extended permission list. Even if the file's permission bits are set to 777, nobody but the owner can delete it. Before, if a user had rwx in the extended permissions list, they could delete or rename. This is a major problem now, I've tried every configuration change I can think of but no luck. I've searched all over the web hoping this was a bug with 3.0.13 but it doesn't appear so. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
