samba 3.0.10 its not working

samba 3.0.10 problem on solaris 9 i386

i dont know why me samba not working

i have checked any petitions,
the machine has two lan card !
i send any config settings of samba.

for any helps iam where happy

here the log.nmbd

Netbios nameserver version 3.0.10 started.

ERROR: nmbd is already running. File /usr/local/samba/var/locks/nmbd.pid exist

log.smbd (here its strange socket_addr = 0.0.0.0 )

i have certified of port 139

without hits

Maurizio, I don't know Samba, but the message:

ERROR: nmbd is already running. File /usr/local/samba/var/locks/nmbd.pid exists and process id 1880 is running.

seems to indicate that you're trying to start an already running process. Have you tried killing process 1880 and renaming the /usr/local/samba/var/locks/nmbd.pid file to something like mnbd.pid.old? Then try to restart the service. Let us know how you get on.

after delete this file i restart'd the smbd und nmbd service new

and the log.nmbd was better

i don't know but the nmbd service i see it if i do
ps -e |grep nmbd
1968 ? 0:00 nmbd

but the smbd it's not staring :-(

It does not like the
interface section of your smb.conf
(hence the 0.0.0.0 in the log)

Try removing it

i have insert this string to smb.conf
and now it's work perfect

interfaces = iprb0
