S8720 with si to g650 migration help required

I am currently in the process of migrating an ACM running 3.1.2 with S8720 servers and a single si port network (3 cabs)
my need is to migrate over to G650's but it seems that the only way to acheive this is to use provision. is this correct or can this be done by simply using change cab?

I have attempted this but it seems i need to remove all current translations to do with the port network...

any help will be gratefully received..
