Does each S8720 have 2 power supplies or 1?

I think all the S series servers so far (other than the S8730's) are all single power supply servers.

As mikey said, only the s8730 is dual power supply.
This is from the website

The S8730 Server will be available with the launch of Communication Manager 5.0. This updated version (with RAID and dual power supplies) of the S8720 server

S8720 is delivert by avaya with one power supply.

Just order 2 extra at HP because its a HP-server
I alway,s put in a extra power supply....

Thank you all. Ok will order 3 extra HP. Should I order DL385s

You can find the HP Power supply for the S8710 and the S8720 (they are each different, as they are a different HP server for each model). Yes, the S8730 will have an orderable 2nd power supply, as well as a RAID 1 option, orderable directlly from AVAYA.

p.s. I have found the S8710 power supplys (HP) for around $35 on eBay, FYI.

What is the part number for the power supplies for the S8710's Mitch?? I think I am going to get a couple for here.

HP model PS-3381-1C1
Part No. 194989-002
Assy, PS 400W, PFC
Spare No. 313299-001
Kit, Spares, PS, 400W, PFC

those are the numbers of 1 of the 2 I have here... The S8710 has a PCB style connector on its PS, while the S8720 PS has a "real" connector for its PS, so they are different (S8710/S8720 PS's)

here is a used one on eBay, BTW, the S8710 is really the HP DL380...
