I have a S8710 pair that has not done a server interchange for 369 days, so neither of the servers have been rebooted. I am starting to have very strange issues with one of my isdn trunk groups. When you trace a station trying to use the TG outbound I get a denial 1195. If I put the channels in a new TG using the same DS1 board and channels it works.....here is the software version I am running.

Operating system: Linux 2.4.20-AV14 i686 i686
Built: Jun 25 09:13 2004

Contains: 02.0.111.4
Reports as: R012x.02.0.111.4
Release String: S8710-012-02.0.111.4
UPDATES:
02.0.111.4-8551 unpacked hot SWUD for CM2.2
02.0.111.4-8665 unpacked hot Service Pack For 2.2
02.0.111.4-10218 unpacked hot SWUD for CM2.2

Thoughts????

Well I would reboot the standby server, interchange, reboot the other server, and interchange back.

Do it after hours to minimize impac but that should help rule out the uptime as a cause. E

ven if it isn't the cause it may resolve the issue you're having. If it doesn't at least you can start looking elswhere for a solution.
