I have configured S8300 with LSP. Logged to the S8300 over Web Interface with craft, install licence file and auth file, and then tried to save translation over ASA. I got the message to change password, I did it, got the info that password will expire in one day. I tried to do save translation, but there isn't command save translation. Did I make mistake, 'cause I didn't save translation over telnet, or this is normal?
Every time I log over ASA, I have to change password, or it will expire (I can't change login).
Anybody knows what the solution is?
What shall I do to get right Login/Pass, so I can do save translation, over ASA or telnet?

thanks a lot

You can't save translations locally on an LSP. You will have to login to your main switch, make the changes there and then save translations. This will overwrite all changes made on the LSP so make sure you make the changes in the main switch.

What dmoore7648 said is true. Since all of your translations on the LSP are from main switch, you will log into the LSP with the same login and password that you use to log into the main switch.

you can do "Save Translation lsp xxx.xxx.xx.x" from the
primary server xxx.xxx.xx.x being the address of the LSP site ...also in the system maintenance check off update lsp ...

*this saves to the LSP when ever the primary controller does
its backup on maintenance every night ...its should also use
the same Login and password from the primary as it pulls the Translation and just makes a copy so that when it does fail and go into LSP mode it has an exact up to date Translation ....including LOGIN & PASSWORD
