s8300 on G430 problem

S8300 is responging to half of ping messages. Could it be server problem? Could i try to change the new s8300 without shutting down the gateway and server?

If you are pinging from the same subnet and you are missing half the pings I would check for a duplicate IP address on the LAN segment.

Does the IP of the gateway has the same issue?
Otherwise try to disconnect the gateway from the network and try with a cross cable. If you receive full ping it is network related.

I just tried different computer, and it worked. Some problems with windows could be.
