S8300 for Firmware and Phone backups

Using the S8300 for phone firmware is fine in fact in some cases with small wan pipes this might be the best way to go. But I wouldn't back up the phones to the S8300. While I've never done it and while it may or may not be possible. Those files are ever changing and I would want them on a centralized server to be backed up nightly for easy recovery. With that said, deploy a MVIPTel server centrally for all your sites and have all your phones backup to that one place.
