Hi all,
i'm comimg across some troubles with an integration between an s8300 cm 2.2 using an mm720 fw 8 and a rightfax server version 9.3 .

I have configured correctly the trunk and bri board ( avaya has confirmed cause i have a ticket logged for this issue ) but whenever i do a status bri port 01v3xx, in the screen i have , status , in service, layer 1, pending activation.

Both me and the rightfax engineer have tried to connect our own boards to an NT carrier bri box and in this case, both cards are working properly.

My bri card is setup as network with protocol etsi.

Anyone has seen this problem before ?

Thanks in advance for any suggestion.

Cheers

There is a similar chat going on in the Forum regarding Captaris RightFax and Avaya CM (Definity) interconnect at the moment.
I used to install loads of these, albeit a long time ago, and this was a common problem at the time.
Are you using Brooktrout TR114 boards like the other guy?
As you are using etsi I guess you are in the UK, have you had a word with Alan at Captaris in Coventry?

Hi Mate and thanks for your reply.

I'm in Italy and the board on the rightfax side is a tr1034.

Despite i'm an ACS, i'm not able ( but neither the avaya tier 3 engineer that has my case assigned ) to get it out.

If you have any contact i can give a call ( speaking english is not a issue ) to figure this out this will be great.

Cheers
