Hi

We have an IP office and a number of s08 units. We have two devices set to answer B1 and B2 on the ISDN respectivly. Currently we have two incoming DDI numbers per ISDN port, how do we go about setting the first DDI to route to B1 and the second DDI to B2.

Many thanks
Simon

You can't, the ISDN device should answer only the desired DDI number.
On a BRI the IPO takes just a free channel regardless of the incoming number, this is EURO ISDN specific.

If I understood it correctly he had devices connected to his S08 module that he wanted to call. In that case you can separate the 2 channels on each port.

Hi jannie78,

How do I go about seperating the 2 channels of the BRI ?

Thanks

I agree with intrigant, you cannot specify which B channel a call comes in on. That's just the way ISDN works. You can specify which channel a call goes out on (well, on any system other than the IP Office anyway!). But incoming will just pick the first channel that is free.
