runtime error55 File Already Open(Correct message)

when i try to save my session for board simulator program i get the message "runtime error55 File Already Open". i have used this feature many times before and never had this problem.
i have tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the program.
but the problem persists. could anyone suggest a solution ?
