I was wondering if any one could help me with the following problem:

I have recently upgraded the windows 2000 to windows 2003 standard edition with SP1 on our mail server which was already running the Exchange 2003 enterprise edition. Upgrade complete successfully but bow every time I open IIS6 properties or the Components services I get a Runtime error!, but after clicking OK on the error messages it will eventually opens up the properties page!

Has any one knows what causes the error messages and how I can resolve this issue please. Any advice highly appreciated.

There is an Event viewer that should give you (and us) more info the just 'Runtime error'

If 'something' 'somewhere' gives 'some' error, expect random guesses or no replies at all.

There is nothing appears in the event viewer however here is full fetails of the error messages which appears on the screen:
first message:
Microsoft visual c++ runtime library
Runtime Error!
C:\WinNT\system32\Dllhost.exe

second message:
Microsoft visual c++ runtime library
Runtime Error!
C:\WinNT\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Regasm.exe

Third message:
It is the repeat of the first message

then it opens the properties of the IIS server.
