runtime error 55 File not found

when i try to save my session for board simulator program i get the message "runtime error55 file not found". i have used this feature many times before and never had this problem.
i have tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the program.
but the problem persists. could anyone suggest a solution ?

After you uninstalled the program, did you check for any leftover files and folders?
If not, then uninstall it again, and delete any leftover files and folders if they are present.
Then, try a reinstall.
