runtime error 5 in Word 2000 Pro - invalid call or procedure

Hi,

When I open Word documents from within Word all is OK but when I open from the start/documents or by clicking on a document I get the message, runtime error 5 - Invalid call or procedure.

I click on "end" and the document opens with no problem.

I've tried running Norton and also uninstalling the whole of Office 2000 and reinstalling it to no avail.

Any help would be appreciated.

P.S. Win 98 SE
