Running WAS and BO server on different machines

Hi All,

I have a Web application that uses Webi API to invoke BO reports. It is deployed in Websphere on one machine.

My BO server is running on another machine. How can we make this remote application talk to remote BO server?

Or to put it simply, should the web application and BO server be installed on the same machine?

Any ideas? Please suggest.

You can do it either way. It's all about configuring the BO server to know where the app server is. It's MUCH easier if it's all on the same box, but it isn't necessary.

The deployment guide tells you how to do it.
