I need to run a scandisk (or chkdsk as it seems to be in NT) on a SPECIFIC FOLDER on my server's hard drive. I don't have the time to wait for it to run across the entire hard drive (it won't anyway because people are constantly using it during the day). I have been told to check a specific folder for possible physical errors.

Any thoughts?

Ian

bring up a command prompt and type chkdsk. My 50 gig hard drive scans in about 3 minutes.
