Running "Rainbow Six" under XP Pro. 1

If you experience the following error called, "Please insert CD in drive" (your cd letter)after doing a minimal install of R6 then try doing a full installation of the application (456 megabytes.) This allows the application to run without the CD inserted. I found this out after trying to install the game on several attempts. Running the program compatibility wizard did not work either, but apparently the application (or XP) could not locate either of my CD drives to play the game from CD. I wonder why XP was displaying this error? Any feedback would be appreciated in resolving the missing CD error message.
