Hi everyone,
I need your help with my Partioning nightmare... All I need to know is:- Which of the following software can be installed and run in one OS environment without conflict.

SCR 7
SCR 8
SCR 8.5
Info 7
Info 7.5
Enterprise

I am looking to partition my training PC's then on each partion install for example
SCR 7 + Info 7 or
SCR 7 + SCR 8 + Info 7 + Info 7.5

etc etc.

Are there any known problems???

Thanks for you help in advance.

Crystal doesn't recommend installing any combination of different versions or products, because they all could generate minor conflicts in some areas. They don't support it.

However, I have had CR versions 4.5 thru 8 installed on the same PC at the same time, and used all of them at a low level for testing. I have had only a few minor issues, mostly warning messages that don't cause a problem. Install them in chronological order for the least grief.

However, mixing INFO with CR is more likely to generate problems. The difference is the Print engines (CRPE vs CIPE) which use different versions of several of the same dll files, especially for ODBC connections, printing and exporting.

With Enterprise, which only works with CR 8.5, there are no issues, since CR is separate from Enterprise. Ken Hamady
