Running Applications in Sharepoint from the Server

I need to configure Sharepoint (WSS) so that applications like Adobe Acrobat and Autocad 2007 will run from the server and not be required to be installed on the client workstation.

How can I achieve this?

Not so!! j/k. this isn't possible, except with the new moss2007 you can have excel and infopath run off the server.

So there's no way to get this to work at all? Not even if I upgrade to Sharepoint Portal Services? :(

windows sharepoint services = wss. sharepoint portal server 2003 won't be of much help either.
