Runnig chkdsk on mirrored drive (Raid1)

I have a windows 2000 server as the domain controller and have mirrored the drive as Raid1 and was wondering whether I can run the chkdsk tool without any problem

Hardware or software RAID? Either way - shouldn't be any issues. Always a good idea to do a chkdsk first though.
