What are the Visual Support Libraries need to run a VFP stand alone executable.

I copied all the appropriate DLL FLL MSM .h files indicated in REDIST.TXT and the runtime executable to a directory where I put my application.

Upon launching it (via double clicking it) it continues to tell me "Can Not Locate the Microsoft Visual Foxpro Support Library." And then press <OK>.

I suppose this mandates that I must use Install Shield to install even a simple DLL or a non-visual executable.
That's Ok I guess..its just too bad though there isn't a short cut.

In VFP 5 there were about 5 file
In VFP 7 there were about 50 files
How many might there be in 8??

RUNTIMES FOR VFP7

Always include:
vfp7r.dll
VFP7RENU.dll
msvcr70.dll

The following files are also required in order for HTML Help to work from a distributed VFP 7.0 application:
FoxHHelp7.exe
FoxHHelpPS7.dll

Please Note: you will need to register the runtime files on the target system.

Should have mentioned that I'm using VFP 8

I will check but I believe I have on the local drive all the

VFP8*.DLL

I will check on the msvcr70.dll

But again - I'm using VFP 8.
I had no problem in VFP7.

ok, well have you registered those DLL's with regsrv32?
