Getting

Run-Time error '3001':
Application-defined or object-defined error

Attempting to access an Access front end (for platinum/epicor reports). Error is only experienced on one person's new machine. Old machine is WinNT with Access 2000 and it works fine there. New machine is W2K with Access 2000 - get the above error on this new machine.

The front-end is located on a network share, so both machines are accessing it at the same location. Why the error on one and not the other?

Perhaps MDAC/ODBC? Any suggestions?

Thanks for your time.

Perhaps. Make sure you are installing your app with an installation tool such as the P&D.
Prior to doing this make sure you have updated to VB6 SP5.

Possibly a newer constant used as an argument for a function call in some dll does not work on an older version because it isn't available. [/b][/i][/u]*******************************************************
