Run Excel Macro from Access

Well the "shell' statement works well here.<br>

But your question is a bit vague. Do you want to open Excel and a speadsheet and run a macro on that spreadsheet.<br>

What i would like to do is <br>
1) open an Access database ( in which there is a link to the Excel sheet),<br>
2) Run a macro in excel, which performs certain calculations on the sheet.<br>
<br>
So even if i don't explicitly open Excel sheet, i would be satisfied if the excel macro is run so that the Access database has the updated information from Excel.<br>
