RTL error HPHipm11.exe fix for Photosmart and ZoneAlarm conflict.
Try this solution:
Reassign the drive letter used by your printer's card reader.
Instructions for W2K and XP:
>>>Make sure printer has no media in any of the slots.<<<
1. Open Computer Management Console and select Disk Management under the Storage tree. (see tip)
2. Right click the Disk (removable) to be changed in the lower right section of the console and select Change Drive Letter and Path…
With the removable drive letter highlighted click edit
3. Select a new letter from the drop down menu and click OK.
I changed mine from "F:" from "P:"
I have read many threads looking for the solution and would like to give credit those who have contacted both HP and ZA in particular FiberNut who in March 2004 contacted HP and got the explanation which led me to this work around.
Tip: Open the Computer Management console quickly!
Click Start>Run and type compmgmt.msc in the text box.
Click OK.
It’s been 4 days and over 20 reboots without incident!
