I have a question about RRAS and the server services. When i try to go to the RRAS console i get that the server service is not started and that it needs to be started. I have looked in the services and i do not see the server service at all. Am i looking for it in the wrong place or do i need to do something to get this service started. The server is a windows 2000 server sitting on a windows nt domain. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

RRAS is installed with windows 2000 server by default. However, the service is not started. To activate the service you have to click Start -> Programs -> Administrative Tools -> Routing and Remote Access. When the console comes up right click on the name of your server and select Configure and Enable Routing and Remote Access. After you select this option the service will start and you will be able to configure your server for remote connections. Hope this helps.
